Publisher's Summary
Agatha Raisin's detective agency has become so successful that now all she wants is some R&R. But as soon as she cuts back her hours, Agatha remembers that when she has too much quality time, she doesn't know what to do with it. So it doesn't take much for the vicar of a nearby village to persuade her to help publicize the church fete, especially when the fair's organizer, George Selby, happens to be a gorgeous widower. The problem is that several of the offerings in the jam-tasting booth turn out to be poisoned, and the festive family event soon becomes a murder scene. Now Agatha must uncover the truth behind the jam tampering and expose the nasty secrets lurking in the seemingly innocent village - all while falling for handsome George, who just may have some secrets of his own.

Fun
I love Agatha and her v human imperfections. The narrator was fab. Great, mindless, escapism!!!

The usual bit of fun!
As always Agatha Raisin is always a bit of fun to read! And the narrator is okay. I prefer Penelope Keith but they're both good. Not 100% sure I care for Wanda's Australian accent.

Poor audio - just ok story
Audio is clipped in several places, so don’t start with this book as names and words are cut off sometimes at the most inconvenient time. If you don’t already know the characters, you may miss something important. The narrator isn’t as good as Penelope Keith was but few are, she does a decent job. The story is OK not one of her best, seems like it could’ve done with one more editing pass. Worth listening to if you’re going to do the whole collection still has the fun of the key characters.
