Publisher's Summary
One kiss lasts a moment. But a thousand kisses can last a lifetime.
One boy. One girl. A bond that is forged in an instant and cherished for a decade. A bond that neither time nor distance can break. A bond that will last forever. Or so they believe.
When 17-year-old Rune Kristiansen returns from his native Norway to the sleepy town of Blossom Grove, Georgia, where he befriended Poppy Litchfield as a child, he has just one thing on his mind: Why had the girl who was one half of his soul, who promised to wait faithfully for his return, cut him off without a word of explanation?
Rune's heart was broken two years ago when Poppy fell silent. When he discovers the truth, he finds that the greatest heartache is yet to come.
A standalone young adult tearjerker romance, recommended for ages 14 and up.

The saddest book I’ve ever read
The narrating was a 10/10 the book 100/10. I don’t think my heart will ever be the same again

The truest love story
I absolutely loved this story, I cried with the characters and laughed with them. Very relatable characters and likeable. True love, I also loved the voices chosen for the characters. I feel like poppy’s voice was spot on, and Runes was just like I imagined in my head when reading the paper version. I’m definitely going to listen to this over and over.

Way too long
Story was a great idea, but way to long and too antiquated romance, to the point it didn’t feel real.

“harlequin romance” of olden days
Basically an olden days (of my youth) harlequin romance that is stretched out to 13 hours of listening. It’s good, if you like that kind of read.

Bring out the tissues
I loved that book. The narrators are so good. Full a emotion and life. The story is predictable but it’s so well written that you just dive into the story. I cried at least a third of the book.

Not my fav…
If I was 14/15 again, I would’ve drank this all up in one sitting. However, 3 things that really bothered me were;
1- Their love was SOOOOO unrealistic. A total fairytale giving poor girls this false idea of what love is truly like.
2- It felt incredibly forced to get the reader to cry…
3- I was getting, The Fault In Our Stars Vibes
The book was well written but the story itself wasn’t.
Performance:
They both did good but it felt a bit cringy when the one voice actor would do an impersonation of the other for the dialogue. Too bad they couldn’t work together reading their own character’s lines no matter the chapter. But obviously POV reading stayed the same.

Love!
Beautifully narrated with such emotion. The story of young love - heartbreaking, beautiful and fairytale like. I ugly cried. My tissue box is now empty - we should all hope to find such a love like Poppy and Rune's.
