Such Awful People
Every other time I've read a Xianxia novel the main character was OP so it hasn't been as much of an issue but in this book the protagonist isn't OP. He's weak and has lots to learn which is normally a good thing for stories. Unfortunately, all of his elders and most of his classmates are complete A-holes with absolutely no consequences for their behavior. It may get better in later books but after 2 whole books of listening to awful people being crappy, I am so done. It's unfortunate because I really enjoy the world and the authors writing but wow I can't listen to another horrible person being horrible to the protagonist.
