Publisher's Summary
Now a major motion picture from Universal Pictures.
Will Freeman may have discovered the key to dating success: If the simple fact that they were single mothers meant that gorgeous women - women who would not ordinarily look twice at Will - might not only be willing, but enthusiastic about dating him, then he was really onto something. Fantastic
I came across Nick Hornby through the cinematic adaptations of his books, particularly About A Boy. Will's and Marcus' intertwined journeys are absolutely authentic and the prose wraps you up and binds you with the characters. It's a damn good job I didn't read this in my twenties or I would've become Will... Or maybe a shame - he leads a happy and seductive lifestyle before the world (and Marcus) intrude and crack through his defences.
