Spectacular performance! Best I've heard in ages!

I listen to a LOT of audiobooks, and so often I find the narrator's tone/delivery doesn't match the tone of the writing, or the voices given don't fit a character's delivery - but for the first time in a very long time, I got to thoroughly enjoy a narrator's (and excellent voice actor's) performance from start to finish. I had never heard of this series before giving this title a try, but it's one of my favourite tropes, and I'm so, so glad I did! The writing is excellent! Smart, logical, and in-depth. The characters, so far, are understandable and evolve as all good characters should. The writing is insightful, and the plot and progression well paced.

I am VERY eagerly looking forward to the rest of this series, and in particular Anjali Kunapaneni's following performances! If I could give this more that five stars, I would.
