Im not sure why there are so many negative reviews about this book, I’m just glad that I decided to give this a chance anyways :) I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this book, including the narration. Give it a chance too, you won’t be disappointed!

I very much enjoyed the characters in this novel. Its easy to picture them with the minds eyes thanks to the colorful descriptions.
Suspenseful, pationate, and
brought to life by an excellent narrator!
I highly recommend it!

The story of this book is great ! There’s lots of plot twist and the author finds ways to keep everything exciting ! The biggest issue of this book is the five or six sex scenes that are very graphic and not needed. They do not drive the plot forward much and just create a weird ambiance. If you find sexual content disturbing this book isn’t for you. If you can look past it the book is great and leaves you with a great feeling of relief and awe.

There’s some good writing and story in here somewhere. But… for someone who glosses over unrealistic sex scenes, this one was over the top.
The entire back half of this book was sex scenes composed with almost crude depictions and uncomfortable repetitions.
I like a good love story, but who needs to hear about rock hard erections and mounds over and over again, to find out who the killer is?
Would have much preferred better back stories and uncomfortable first times.
Oh, and it’s a lot sexist. I had to relook at the publishing date a couple times when terms like « possession » was used instead of jealousy and domination.
If you are going to write a love story, sex scene. Please at least try and not sound like a complete asshole.
No self appreciating female wants to think a man wants to possess her. You took the spousal abuse to a second level letting the main character use thoughts like that.

It’s a sex scene book with an almost good story background.

I liked the idea of the story, but it was hard to stomach the male dominant world and women swooning over the men and their manliness. Other than that. I liked figuring out who done it.
