About this listen
Gorgeous. Sweet. Funny. He made me feel things that I've never felt before. In just one short week over Spring Break, I began to fall in love. That is until it all fell apart. Now, here I am, three years later and I've moved on, at least that's what I told myself until he came crashing back into my life. Things have changed. I've changed, and there's something he doesn't know.
He wants me to give us another chance. I try to fight it, but it's not long before all of those same old feelings come rushing back. I know he feels it, too. I can see it every time he looks at me. I can feel it every time he touches me.
It feels like I'm missing something though, like there's something that he's not telling me. Something that has the potential to tear it all apart. After all, it's not easy when you fall in love with your best friends' father. I didn't stand a chance after we met.

Great Narration, Terrible story
The narrators were very good, they brought some personality to these characters.
The audio was clear but that doesn't make up for the awful story.
I don't know if this is an abridged version of this story but it has many parts that are really choppy and make it seem like I missed something. The idea behind the story sounded great and would have made an amazing story but thats not the end result. There were times i'd be getting lost in the story but then a weird jump to some very fast resolution would completely ruin the flow of the story for me. The book would have been helped a lot by being longer and allowing more time for the characters to naturally progress toward the places they reached in the book. The run time was less than 5 hours but that doesn't mean much, I have listened to books before with a sort run time that were great. in this case it felt like the author was just trying to jam to much into a short story and created unnecessary bumps in the road to have action rather than just taking the time to develop and conclude the main story line well.
my biggest complaints (spoiler free)
1st. the insta love of the 2 main characters was super weird but even more off putting was the male leads treatment of the female lead at several points in the story.
2nd. the character of Molly has such sudden mood changes in her relationship with the female lead that it gave me whiplash! (BFF's then i'll hate you for ever! in one instant back to be my BFF again)
3rd. the childish behaviour of the male lead and Molly is just pointless. The male lead is supposed to be a man in his 40's but he is written more like a scared immature late teen and Molly, oh my goodness she is supposed to be a woman/teacher in her mid 20's but is behaving more like a terrible teenage mean girl until in 1 instant she becomes a completely different character.
these are my top 3 but the list could go on and on and on and on and on................. basically my advice is save your credit and spend it on something else because this isn't worth it.
