About this listen

This program includes an author's note read by the author, and a bonus chapter.

From one of the most followed booktubers today comes Again, but Better, a story about second chances, discovering yourself, and being brave enough to try again.

Shane has been doing college all wrong. Pre-med, stellar grades, and happy parents...sounds ideal - but Shane's made zero friends, goes home every weekend, and romance...what’s that?

Her life has been dorm, dining hall, class, repeat. Time's a ticking, and she needs a change - there's nothing like moving to a new country to really mix things up. Shane signs up for a semester abroad in London. She's going to right all her college mistakes: make friends, pursue boys, and find adventure!

Easier said than done. She is soon faced with the complicated realities of living outside her bubble, and when self-doubt sneaks in, her new life starts to fall apart.

Shane comes to find that, with the right amount of courage and determination, one can conquer anything. Throw in some fate and a touch of magic - the possibilities are endless.

Quirky and Cute

This book had me fangirling.
This story was Christine in every sense. After years of watching her videos and following her writing journey, I feel as though I’ve connected with her. This book is exactly what I needed; it’s fun and inspiring. Brittany gives a great performance that encompasses both sass and awkwardness. Listening to it felt like a theatrical performance.
I am so sad that Shane’s adventure has come to an end. I was left on the edge of my seat following the story and Shane’s struggles. This book was what I needed to hear being a university student conflicted about if I’m living the life I want.
I could not be more proud of Christine for finally getting a book out there and having it be so relatable.

Absolutely loved this book!

I literally could not stop listening to this book it was amazing! It was such a great book, especially for a first book. I'm not the most active reader so for this book to actually keep me reading until I finished the whole thing is quite an accomplishment. I would totally recommend this book to any young adult reader; absolutely loved it! Thank you Christene, I can't wait for the next one!

Fun and encouraging!

The books plot about putting yourself out there and working hard at what you love was so encouraging. I listened to Christine's opening with my sisters and was immediately crying. If you're someone that's still finding yourself, or as I am figuring out changing family relationships as you and your siblings/cousins grow into adults, then I highly recommend you read this book. Christine Riccio puts so much of herself into these characters, and I loved that I was reading a book in which I felt like I new the author. If you haven't checked out Christine on YouTube then I recommend you do she has brought so much love for reading into my life.
