Publisher's Summary
"This is a great idea." Aiden had jumped up, fist punched the air, and yelled, "That's how we do it! BAM!" It stuck. Our initials, our ideas, our brand. My brothers.
Three young men meet in university and form a lifelong friendship. Their pasts dictate the men they are, but their present shapes their future. What happens when these men meet the one person they are destined to be with? Can they fight their feelings and walk away? Or will they each succumb and learn the sweet agony of love?
Haunted by memories of his past, Aiden plays the part of the happy-go-lucky friend. Always ready with a teasing smile or a joke, he is good at hiding his pain. Using his impressive physique as a shield, he keeps his past buried beneath his rugged exterior. Except, one woman sees through his façade. Her green eyes see too much, even as her body tempts him. Even as his heart yearns for her. Cami is determined to make him realize that he is worthy of being loved. He pushes her away at every turn, yet finds himself unable to keep her at arm's length. Who will win this battle of love?

Good story for friends with benefits.

Friends with Bently, he has secrets from his past that nobody knows. So even though he is having benefits with Bentleys girlfriend best friend, he feels he not worth loving.
This story is him rejecting her love until he realizes that she does break down his walls and they marry in vegas without anyone attending.
Good story but loved the first one with Bentley.

Even Tree Trunks Deserve Love
I adored Aiden and Cami! Aiden is tall, humorous, laid-back, and attractive, the solid foundation of the trio aka 'Tree Trunk' who firmly believes he is unworthy of love and incapable of loving others. On the other hand, Cami is straightforward, entertaining, eccentric, and completely smitten with Aiden. Their relationship began in the first book, and in this installment, we delve deeper into their story. Cami is undeniably head over heels for Aiden!
This book also gave us a touch of suspense, causing Aiden to go all alpha protector which I loved.
The strong bond between Bentley, Aiden, and Maddox still stands strong, and now we have Emmy, Cami, and Dee joining the mix. Together, these six individuals form an extraordinary group! I found it fascinating to witness the dynamics shift as each man falls in love, while still maintaining the snark and sass that I fell in love with in the first book.
I adore the chemistry between Cami and Aiden, and I thoroughly enjoyed learning more about their backgrounds and how they overcome their past to embrace their future. Their connection is filled with passion, and they make a scorching hot couple!
John and Maxine are amazing narrators and really brought Aiden and Cami to life. I'm enjoying them so much.
