Reading Aldo was an experience but listening to narrators John Lane and Maxine Mitchell tell Aldo Ricci and Vi Nelson’s story was even better.
With Aldo, Author Melanie Moreland takes that small step over the line of morally gray to a little bit of black! In fact, with The Men from the Falls duet she has gone a little gangsta!
Aldo is Roman Costas right hand mad at The Maple, and upscale Casino in Niagara Falls, the best of the best. Aldo is happy to spend his days with his best friend running the hotel, then Violet Nelson walks into an interview with Aldo and the man who is a one night stand kinda guy, just might be ready for more than one night.
John Lane as always does a wonderful job bringing the male characters to life, as does Maxine Mitchell who brings Vi to life for listeners. The attraction between these two character’s is so easy to picture in you mind and John Lane brings Aldo dirty talking self out for us to love.
This is a quick listen and I know it won’t be one listen…it will be lots of listens!
