About this listen

With revealing, never-before-told stories, Fred C. Trump III, nephew of President Donald Trump, breaks his decades-long silence in this honest memoir and sheds a whole new light on the family name.

For the record…Fred Trump never asked for any of this. The divisive politics. The endless headlines. A hijacked last name. The heat-seeking uncle, rising from real estate scion to gossip column fixture to The Apprentice host to President of the United States. Fred just wanted a happy life and a satisfying career. But a fight for his son’s health and safety forced him onto a center stage that he had never wanted. And now, at a crucial point for our nation, he is stepping forward again.

In All in the Family, Fred delves into his journey to become a “different kind of Trump,” detailing his passionate battle to protect his wife and children from forces inside and outside the family. From the Trump house to the White House, Fred comes to terms with his own complex legacy and faces some demons head-on. It’s a story of power, love, money, cruelty, and the unshakable bonds of family, played out underneath a glaring media spotlight.

All in the Family is the inside story, as it’s never been told before.

Genuine and heartfelt

So much is said about the Trump family and specially Dinald Trump. while not being a fan, it's refreshing to have this version of his nephew.

Not a Classic though important

welllllllll, just finished.
First, Fred Trump III is not like any other Trump in that family.
He is kind, generous, thoughtful and reliable. He shows up in his family as a flickering light of Goodness.
As a story of how hard it is to parent a child with profound needs, and the thick skin it requires to get resources, and the rewards of the purest love you can imagine......its exceptional.
I had no idea.....and I'll never forget.
For me, now....Trump is a name like Smith...its value depends on the user.

Disappointed

You considered your uncle more important than your own sister because she would not put up with his crap. All because he always said hello to you.

Self Serving Book

Fred Trump seems to be trying to have his cake and eat it too. This book swings between a need to pander to his aunts and uncles and condemnation of their various bad behaviours. He clearly enjoys the trappings, financial and otherwise, of being a Trump - especially post 2016 and seems to want to protect his current favourable status. To that end, this book appears to be an attempt to make amends with ‘The Donald’ et al and to distance himself from his sister, Mary, and her anti-Donald stance. The epilogue is a further attempt to rehabilitate his image - including a glossed over reference to alcoholism and apparent recovery. Overall a very disappointing read…
