Enjoyed this book
Not to mention a spoiler, but I ended up more interested in a lesser character named Kate.
I also enjoyed the reader, how she pronounced the word plaid drove me a little crazy which was said a fair bit.
There is nothing that really stands out sorry to say (it's a standard romance), but give it a 4+ because I'd listen to it again and like the reader.

Glad to have given this book a chance
This narrator is my favourite! There hasn’t been a book I don’t love with her as the narrator.
Great story! I really enjoy historical romance without smut to ruin the straight, monogamous couple. I want a committed couple without whores, gay or extramarital affairs on the side. This was wonderful, steamy and a great back story. I’ll be reading more from this author for sure.

Love it
This story is wonderful. Hilarious dialogue and inner thoughts from the characters! Mary Jane Wells is such a marvellous narrator. My favorite! The combination of interesting novel and wonderful story telling was a treat!! 🙂

Amazing series
The Highland bride book series was a great series. Enjoyed listening to every book. Amazing stories and great commentery for each book. Recommend this series.

Great romance by Lindsay Sands
This is the first in the highland brides series. With dashes of humor and plenty of sizzle, this story is well worth it.

Great book less than great reader
I have read the book before and loved it so I bought the audiobook to listen to during work and was disappointed in the reader they chose. I have listened to plenty of audiobooks, she is by no means the worst however she just wasn't my kind of reader therefore made my experience less enjoyable. Still a great book just wished someone else had read it.

Clear and sweet
A nice, sweet and clean story
Stong but not aggressive woman lead. Good narration. A good story for the "aww" factor.
