About this listen
As an a'ani warrior, my life matters little. Cloned from the same matter as thousands of others, I am but one of many. Here on the ice planet, though, I can start over. I can become my own person, have my own needs, my own wants.
I know what I want. I have known since the moment I arrived.
Her name is Angie. She is human, with sad, lonely eyes, and a very pregnant belly. To her, I am not just another clone. I am Vordis, the one who laughs at her jokes, tends to her needs, and makes her smile. I will do anything to make her mine.
But my brother and fellow clone Thrand thinks the same way, and he's just as determined to win her. Will I have to destroy my bond with my brother to win my female? Or will he cause a rift between us that's impossible to mend?
Contains mature themes.

Funny and entertaining
4 Blue Roses
3.5 to 4 Blue Flames
Dual Narrators Sean Crisden and Felicity Munroe delivered a funny heartfelt tale unique only to Ruby Dixon. These two narrators blend together like sunshine and happiness. I could not stop smiling while listening to them perform. That includes some ugly reverse sneezing sounds and tears definitely not brought on by sadness. Our heroine is pregnant, stranded on an ice planet with two emotionally stupid alien gladiators fussing about her. This is a guaranteed pick me upper.
I definitely recommend this audiobook if you like Ruby Dixon at her best.

Funny and Light
This one made me laugh out loud a few times. Much better than the last book (Willa's Beast) that I had to DNF.

Cute but slow
Cute but there’s not much to the story, and usually there’s more spice but this book literally had nothing until the very end of the book. I understand she was pregnant but she wasn’t dead and she had needs, it was kinda annoying how she was always on the outs not really being included in conversations or anything with other people in the clan.
The alien male who wanted her was a clone made for fighting with to the death as a gladiator. The book was kinda slow but cute they were friends but then she got mad at him and then at the end it all works out. Not much to their story.
