Echo, love the voice

the male narrator's voice wasn't my favorite, very naisally, but eventually you get over it. the story was really good.

Great story dark and steamy
Great story ... amazing book in the series or as a standalone. Narrator brought a dark and steamy energy. Passionate from start to finish can't wait for the next book.

Captive but annoying voice
Captive female narrator. Annoying male voice makes it hard to listen to, sounds like an old Kermit the frog.
Echo-Storm's story is full of steamy scenes, writing is average, the scenes feel rushed.

Better then book 1
The one friend who falls in love and loves being in love. But the girl he was with for years cheated on him with his twin brother and then marries him.
Red is a successful businesswoman for a high end magazine who just got out of a relationship with a cheater and has never done casual sex until blondie.
What started out as casual hot spice gets complicated as his ex who’s married to his brother try’s to get him back.
They decided they wanted each other for real and try again slowly and they are endgame

Suspend so much disbelief...
Porn with minimal plot. Suspend disbelief, and try to pretend this toxic, lust driven couple will survive to a HFN ending. As ever, a lot of things would have gone smoother if these two apparently intelligent people could have communicated.
Alternatively, if you like to read about a very handsome alpha male, engaged in a dodgy but profitable business, who appears to obsess about the two (consecutive) loves of his life, and if you like to read about an attractive successful career woman who iwants a no strings sex based relationship but who towards the end of the book is willing to become a stay at home mom (why did the author even add that?) and if you believe a fulfilling relationship can be built on sex (and plenty of it) this is totally the book for you.

Great narration. didn't like the characters
standalone or book two of this series, it's just rather mediocre. didn't really like this character male MC. didn't really like the whole romance. but as boring and predictable as I found it I still enjoyed it a bit more than the previous story which I really enjoyed and then really really didn't enjoy after the MC's character is exposed.
