Cas Lowood has inherited an unusual vocation: He kills the dead. So did his father before him, until he was gruesomely murdered by a ghost he sought to kill. Since her death, Anna has killed any and every person who has dared to step into the deserted Victorian she used to call home. Yet she spares Cas's life.

Anna Dressed in Blood

Okay ever since I read this in grade 7 I have always come back to this book, so maybe I’m a little biased but I’ll tell it how it is.

First, I didn’t love the narrator. Their voice was very deadpan, and I wasn’t a fan of it most of the time. That is something I’m able to get passed though

Second, I really do love the story. Cas’ sense of humour and his sarcasm adds so much to the book. I love the characters as well, they’re well thought out and all have a good place in the world.

I’d say if you like ghost books definitely give it a read.

Narrator was all i liked

Honestly could not stick to the book i got bored and skipped half of it then gave up
