Changed opinions

at first, I thought that the voice could not possibly be as good as Rachel McAdams in the first one, but after a chapter or two I got over the difference of expression and found a different thrill in the tone and expressions of Mary Sarah.

Great story! Poor quality recording

I thoroughly love the Anne of Green Gables series! I bought this book because it was such a good price (a little over a dollar!). However, there was a lot of background noise that seemed to be from a poor-quality recording device. At times I also found the narrator to be stumbling over her words, and taking longer than necessary pauses. That being said, she did a good job with different voices/accents for the various characters. At time she sounded just like Megan Follows in the Anne of Green Gables movie trilogy.

Great book, narrator was a poor choice

The book is great. It's slightly less engaging than the first of the series but the story still remains captivating and worth a read/listen. The narrator however was an extremely poor choice. She reads fine, but if you are trying to find yourself deep in the story you'll have a hard time getting past the British accent applied to a Canadian. This is especially annoying if you just finished the first novel narrated by Rachel McAdams. The audio quality also seemed very dated.

I cannot understand the narrator!

I listened to the first book read by Rachel McAdams, and I absolutely loved it. However, I am extremely disappointed in this book as I can’t understand the British speaking narrator at all!
