unique story
the story has a really neat perspective its told from and I enjoyed the world portrayed as it reminds me of an anime I like

ANTS!
I loved this story, hardly a dull moment. I wish there were more.You may like this if you enjoy power armor, and humans being torn apart by alien creatures. 👍

Excellent performance of an excellent book.
I've had the original paper copy of this book since 88. I love to pull it out every 5 to 10 years to read it, but it's getting worn. Now I can listen any time I want!

Amazing Story
I have read this novel or listened to this audio book at least 3 times a piece and every time it is so enjoyable. Action, humor and heartbreaking in equal shares.

One of my favorite novels.
Great characters. Excellent narrator. Fun story. What more could you ask for in a book? The story never slides into the generic groove that these novels get stuck in. ARMOR AND ANTS! Do yourself a favor (if you like this genre) and give this one a chance. I have three copies and have listened to the audio format multiple times.

Great sci-fi war/power armour story
Story is engaging and unique. The author writes in a very blunt and punchy format. I think it’s intentional to reflect the characters attitude and thought process.
The performance is good and relates the story effectively as well as being easy to follow character switches.
Part two is rather drawn out and could be dramatically condensed I think. And the story is somewhat predictable but that may also have to do with its age.

Felix is the best part of this book.
Felix is an awesome character, a true stoic badass. Just too bad all the other characters are shit by comparison.
