Publisher's Summary
A story is evidence of a transformation. We write of what has transformed us; what we write will transform others. Stories build the human collective world because they encode the two challenges each of us will face again and again: the challenge of facing the unknown and emerging anew; and the challenge of understanding each other.
To live is hard. To write is hard. The difficulty of writing is tied to the difficulty of living. The difficulty of remaining coherent while staying in motion. In stories, we face the unknown. But storytelling itself is not mysterious. There is a rhyme and a rhythm to the process of crafting an impactful story. Learn how to tell stories that stay with your listeners, by planting in them a question that will be the seed of their transformation.

Great audiobook version of the original book
This book offers a compelling tribute to the essential role that storytelling plays in human communication. Mattias provides straightforward principles that anyone can apply to improve their storytelling skills in both personal and professional contexts. His persuasive argument highlights the immense potential of honing our storytelling abilities to forge profound connections with others and create narratives that motivate and influence them. As my partner and I listened to the audio book together, each section sparked captivating conversations about the art of storytelling.
Despite not being professional writers, we gained valuable insights to make our communications at work and at home better.
The book is well narrated by the author, and it is very pleasant to listen to. The subject matter of the book is not easy, so the audiobook requires dedication and concentration. For me, it is a great companion to the ebook.
