Kuliang, located on the outskirts of Fuzhou, Southern China, was once a summer resort for foreigners in the early 20th century. Since 1886, people from more than 20 countries, including Britain, France and the United States, began to build villas in Yixia village in Kuliang to spend the summer. We are joined by an American legend in China and the Friend of Kuliang, Elyn MacInnis. Her father in-law defended China as a pilot in the Fighting Tigers. We discuss her and her families ties to and life in China.d
