  • Gladiator 2's story picks up a couple of decades after the previous movie's end and unfortunately much of the plot is similar to the last movie. That is, there is corruption in Rome's leadership and a few want to make things right.

    Overall, the film is likely to be a letdown to fans of the original film. It takes a lot from the previous film including major aspects of the plot and has similar characters but most of it just is not as good. The scenes in the arena are decent at times but some of the CGI just aren't great. That coupled with poor character depth make for a just above average movie that most would have expected to be much better. The hosts give this film a 6 and 7 and don't recommend rushing to see it.
