The Trump Administration has ordered the Pentagon to send an additional 1,500 active-duty troops to the southern border to assist the U.S. Border Patrol in stopping illegal crossings. Along with troops, the Pentagon will also supply military aircrafts to use in deportations. The mayor of El Paso is pushing back saying he does not need military assistance since his border town is safe.
