Whether it is with food, alcohol, weed, television, shopping, social media, you name it!
Choosing to numb is an unconscious protective response to avoid feeling difficult emotions, whether due to anxiety, stress or trauma.
Be gentle with yourself, acknowledge where it is you may be numbing and allow it to be a place to start.
Begin the detox from it slowly, be honest with yourself about what arises and invite more presence back into your life.
