About this listen

You Can Baby Step Your Way to Becoming a Millionaire

Most people know Dave Ramsey as the guy who did stupid with a lot of zeros on the end. He made his first million in his twenties—the wrong way—and then went bankrupt. That’s when he set out to learn what God had to say about managing money and building wealth. As a result, Dave developed the Ramsey Baby Steps and became a millionaire again—this time the right way.

After three decades of guiding millions of others through the plan, the evidence is undeniable: the Baby Steps not only work for everyone, but they’re proven to work fast. If you follow the plan, you will get out of debt, and you can become a millionaire.

In Baby Steps Millionaires: How Ordinary People Built Extraordinary Wealth --and How You Can Too, listeners will . . .

  • Take a deeper look at Baby Step 4 to learn how Dave invests and builds wealth
  • Learn how to bust through the barriers preventing them from becoming a millionaire
  • Hear true stories from ordinary people who dug themselves out of debt and built wealth
  • Discover how anyone can become a millionaire, no matter their financial status.

Baby Steps Millionaires isn’t a book that tells the secrets of the rich. It’s not even full of sophisticated, hard-to-grasp concepts reserved only for the elite. As a matter of fact, this information is straightforward, practical, and maybe even a little boring. But the life you lead if you follow the Baby Steps is anything but boring! You don’t need a large inheritance or the winning lottery number to become a millionaire. Anyone can do it—even today. For those who are ready, it’s game on!

The fact that you can both achieve financial freedom and be a Christian following in the Lord's will .

honestly this is a life changing book as a sixteen year old I have the opportunity to learn from other people choices the good and the bad and this book illustrates exactly that. He has laid out easy to follow steps to achieve financial freedom in a sense and I'm so excited to have the opportunity at a young age to grab a hold of each piece of wisdom. This is a must read book and I can't recommended it more ! thanks M.r Ramsey for giving me the opportunity to change my family tree while following the Lord. It is an inspiration to see what you've done and how you've continued to follow the Lord through the good and the bad . I am beyond thankful for the advice given in this book !

it's okay, but way too much religious talk

The baby steps are easy, make sense, and quite common sense. It's the discipline I assume most people struggle with. I enjoyed it for the most part, it's an easy listen, but near the end the amount of religion, Jesus, and the bible he discussed was way too much for me.

Great stories and guidelines, but...

The stories in this book are easy to relate to, and the guidelines are clear. I believe that people without entrepreneurial spirit can use these methods to have a better life and much happier retirement. The only issue I have with this book is the last chapter about Jesus and Christianity. How so financially smart and practical guy can't see that Bible is just a fictional book full of metaphors written by a bunch of other people? Everyone needs to believe in their own abilities, not in some fiction that is often difficult to understand because it's not easy to relate to the metaphors. The last chapter kind of killed the motivation created by this whole book.

short stories

have several short success stories. Doesn't really goi to the actual "baby steps". It does tell you what they are and give you stories of people who have found success doing it. It does have a strong religious influence in it as well. Good book. Just not super informative.
