If you liked Bully, After, Cruel Prince, Royals Etc. This Book Is For You
Pros:
- Like the narration (which can be very hit or miss on here)
- Story made me laugh out loud at certain parts
- was fun to listen to her get revenge on the bullies
- introduction to fun new character
Cons:
- in this book (and the first), I felt that the characters acted well beyond their years. I wish they were in their later high school years and content would have been more believable
- first chapter is useless and gives information about characters that hadn't even been introduced yet
- falls into a lot of romance tropes. (Main girl is the only virgin alive, every single boy that sees her falls hard for her and the list goes on)
- writers use of billboard sized foreshadowing leaves me to believe that I can guess majority of the main events that will come up in the next book (I like shock factor and the writer has not mastered this yet, or maybe I am drawn to the same type of book where it is the same story,!different characters and places)
If you do not like bully romances, this book is not for you. But if you are, this one is a fun listen. Again not realistic in anyway but that is somewhat the fun of it. Hopefully they release the third instalment on here. I know this review is confusing as it is more cons then pros, but for reasons I can't articulate, I like this book a lot haha
