About this listen

You'd think a tall woman would fit in on a planet of seven-foot-tall aliens, but even on the ice planet, I'm still a weirdo and an oddity. I'm everything all the other cute, dainty human women aren't.

One guy in particular - the alien Harrec - is determined to embarrass me by pretending he's interested. He's a jokester that flirts like mad and hits on me constantly just to make me feel foolish. He gets under my skin. He makes me so frustrated I want to scream.

When a side-trip to a glacier turns into a nightmare and the two of us are forced to survive alone, I see another side to the enticing blue alien. Even with no one else around, his compliments keep coming and I start wondering if the attraction between us...is real.

Contains mature themes.

lovely

At first, I wasn't sure with Kate's insecurities....but she got over them quickly and the miscommunication was cleared too. I wish there was a better ending but overall cute!

Great performance!

I absolutely love Ruby Dixon, but when Mason Lloyd performs her aliens, I'm besotted!
He does it so perfectly I enjoy the aliens in their ice world so much, I want to move there.
His accent and cadence of his voice is fitting and bloody fantastic. I want my own blue velvety skin and curly horned alien! It is such a sweet treat listening to this for 6 hours. It feels too short for me.
This is Harrec and Kate's story. Both are virgins and their discovery of one another is beautiful. Harrec is a jokester and Kate is a very serious person who has been bullied and hurt over and over again. It takes her a long time to trust Harrec. On their way to the tribal cave, they decide to take a short cut ( all Harrec's doing to get to know each other better). The plot is gripping and very exciting.

I definitely recommend this audiobook as part of the Ice Planet Barbarians series. If you are a lover of sci-fi romance then this is the series for you.
Happy Listening.

This story was okay not as interesting as others though

This story was okay but it kinda felt to much like the others, where a male alien steals away a human female to spend one on one time together in hopes of mating.
There’s a little adventure then everything comes together in the end.
Again they come across another snow creature half starved but they killed them and kept its baby, better then letting the baby die but still doesn’t feel right to me.
I’m off to the next book hopefully it’s a little more interesting…

it was just ok

Idk, this installment was just OK for me… There were parts I really enjoyed another parts I felt board. Would have loved to see more action both inside and outside of the cave… I mean stuff happened but something about this book just didn't keep me intrigued the way Ruby Dixon's books usually do. For me the most exciting part was the very ending of the epilogue. Did not enjoy Hollie Jackson performance for Kate.
