Spend time in bear country?

Then I highly recommend the book. Wakes you up to the reality that bears are killing machines and must be treated with respect. Dull at some points and the data is heavily dated, but still great lessons learned that are practical to this day.

A great book for those who live among bears or simply want to learn more about them. I especially appreciate information on how they behave and what they eat at different times of the year.
