Surprising and engaging

This was a lovely and unexpected story by Juliet Marillier. Thoroughly engaging and beautifully written. Gemma's narration was brilliant, keeping me captivated throughout.

Another Juliet Marillier triumph. i.loves the first person narrative. it changed my old preconceived ideas about some magical creatures!

Perfect short story
