My favorite of the series
This one was probably my favorite of the series. I absolutely loved Anna and Mason together.
Oh Man, Anna has to be one of my favorite FMC's. She is strong and so fierce and full of so much love despite the fact that she really didn't have that in her own family. Her love role models came from her found family in Sutter Lake, and there’s just something incredibly captivating about her intense determination and unwavering love towards her niece and nephew. Her tenacity and strength, her need to do whatever it took to make sure that the kids stayed with her just resonated with me. Even if it meant marrying a virtual stranger!
Mason. Sigh, he was amazing! Besides being hot as hell, I absolutely fell in love with this character. The fact that he had been attracted to Anna for a long time and just waiting for the right moment to make his move. Taking their relationship at Anna's pace because he knew how badly she had been burned by the ones that she loved in the past..OMG. Could this guy get any sexier! His relationship with the kids - I swear my ovaries were exploding...
I was so excited to find out that Anna got her own story.....she shows up in the other books but now knowing her backstory- oh yeah. I'm here for it.
I read this entire series one book after the other - my first books from Catherine and I'm a forever fan now. Her writing is just so full of emotion and strong characters, found families and most importantly this love that you can't help but envy.
Catherine just weaved this gorgeous, heartfelt story that draws you in and you want nothing more than these two characters to have it all.
Aaron & Maxine nailed it. Just like they nailed every other story in this series. I love their pairing so much!
