About this listen

Introduction

Hello, and welcome to Bedtime Affirmations. Do you struggle to sleep when you go to bed or experience waking up at night? This audiobook is designed to help empty your full mind before sleep, stop your racing thoughts, relax your body, make you fully relax, and put you in a deep state of rest. Our task is to program your subconscious mind by repeating good night affirmations. Most people find themselves stressing out daily or feeling pressure throughout the day. The late evening is very challenging for going to bed relaxed. Your lifestyle is intense. You have a lot of responsibilities such as paying bills, loans, high inflation, high prices, mortgage, money shortages in the bank, future uncertainty, children's education, classes, family relationships, relationships at work, etc. Yes, you have all that. That makes you feel overwhelmed, stressed, exhausted, and drained of energy. It is not the best situation you want to be in, but that is where most people are. We can certainly say that our generation is living in the most convenient and comfortable times. Yes, that is correct. However, can we call our generation the most joyful, happy, and peaceful? No. Why is that?

We live in a microwave-results society rushing around with no time, stressed out, and overwhelmed. That is a very unhealthy environment. You have to find a way to escape or minimize stress. We live in times when so many shiny objects are blinding our eyes. People's social status plays a big part in this. The stress can be enormous if you wish to make a lot of money in the world of economics. And so our responsibility--and ours only--is to lower our anxiety level as much as possible. Sleep time plays a critical part in our health and well-being. Unfortunately, if you are unaware of how vital sleep is or ignore it daily, it will lead to considerable consequences to your health--psychological first and then physical. There are five different sleeping disorders. Sleep disorders are conditions that result in changes in how you sleep. A sleep disorder can affect your overall health, safety, and quality of life. Sleep deprivation can affect your ability to drive safely, increase your risk of other health problems, and the human mind's reducing levels of effectiveness. One of the most popular is called Insomnia. What is Insomnia? Sleep disorders are common causes of chronic insomnia including stress. Concerns about work, school, health, finances or family can keep your mind active at night making it difficult to sleep. Stressful life events or trauma such as the death or illness of a loved one, divorce, or a job loss may lead to insomnia. Also, future uncertainty, what my life will be like, or sometimes a person can feel stuck within memories from the past.

The following may be warning signs of a sleep disorder: consistently taking more than 30 minutes to fall asleep, perpetual fatigue and irritability during the day even after getting seven or eight hours of sleep a night, and waking up several times in the middle of the night and remaining awake--sometimes for hours.

Insomnia - being unable to fall asleep and stay asleep; this is the most common sleep disorder.

No matter what age you are, insomnia usually is treatable. The key often lies in changes to your daily routine and when you go to bed.

This audiobook's purpose is to help you before going to sleep. We have to heal our minds. When the mind is relaxed, your physical body goes into the relaxation phase fast. Now is the best time to prepare to sleep. You might hear similar affirmations but that is OK; it is for good reason.
