Told anecdotally, it brings to life the rivers, the plains, and the dogs that hunt these vast stretches of prairie. And finally, it tells of the changes in land ownership in the West, as more and more of it is being eaten up by developers and new landowners from all over the world, who want a piece of it before it all goes away.
