About this listen
Quitting her husband's house and moving back in with her horrible family, Lady Maccon becomes the scandal of the London season.
Queen Victoria dismisses her from the Shadow Council, and the only person who can explain anything, Lord Akeldama, unexpectedly leaves town. To top it all off, Alexia is attacked by homicidal mechanical ladybugs, indicating, as only ladybugs can, the fact that all of London's vampires are now very much interested in seeing Alexia quite thoroughly dead.
While Lord Maccon elects to get progressively more inebriated and Professor Lyall desperately tries to hold the Woolsey werewolf pack together, Alexia flees England for Italy in search of the mysterious Templars. Only they know enough about the preternatural to explain her increasingly inconvenient condition, but they may be worse than the vampires - and they're armed with pesto.
Blameless is the third book of the Parasol Protectorate series: a comedy of manners set in Victorian London, full of werewolves, vampires, dirigibles, and tea drinking.

Series gets better
I found this a welcome improvement on the previoius book of this series, partly as Alexia is again surrounded by interesting and/or exaggerated characters, moving the plot the Europe also worked well.
Fascinated to know where the new addition to the warewolf pack storyline will go, and thank goodness Ivy is less irriatatingly stupid in this book
I do like the style of writing by Ms. Carriger, and her use of some idiom (one of which struck me as both archaic and so appropriate). Narrator, Emily Gray, continues to be excellent

Enjoyed the book
Enjoyed the book and the performance.
Wish more attention was paid to the editing. Breaks between chapters and characters switches were too long in a lot of places.

fun, dramatic and easy listening
this book was fast paced and humorous as always, I thought ivy's parts were funny and could have even been more prevalent! I'm so happy there's more books in the series to keep listening to!

Slight glitch
I loved the story and the voice of the narrator. However there were some unexpected pauses or glitches in the file throughout. Not enough to keep me from enjoying however.
