Publisher's Summary

Jazz Dent has been shot and left to die in New York City. His girlfriend Connie is in the clutches of Jazz's serial killer father, Billy. And his best friend Howie is bleeding to death on the floor of Jazz's own home in tiny Lobo's Nod. Somehow, these three must rise above the horrors their lives have become and find a way to come together in pursuit of Billy. But then Jazz crosses a line he's never crossed before, and soon the entire country is wondering: "Like father, like son?" Who is the true monster?

The chase is on, and beyond Billy there lurks something much, much worse. Prepare to meet...the Crow King.

Excellent

Excellente trilogie! La fin du troisième livre est parfaite. Il y a de l’action tout au long des trois livres.

Complete a trilogy after years and oh was it worth it

Sickening and conclusive,
dark and elusive
Twisted, not tame,
Like an ice pick to the brain.

Happy reading :)

Excelled finale to an excelled series

i highly recommend that everyone read this series. it is one of the best things I have ever accidentally stumbled across in a Google search. this is by far one of my favorite book series. I've only had the series for about a month, and I've already finished it twice. I wish it could be made into a TV show, but I'm sure it would be butchered beyond recognition.
As much as I'm not ready to say goodbye to Jazz, Howie and Connie, everything was resolved and they finally achieved some much deserved peace in the Nod. Throughout this series, Barry Lyga has managed to craft characters that I talk about as though they aren't just creations from someone else's mind. As the old saying goes, they jump right off the page, especially with Charlie Thurstons incredible narration.
This was Jazz final stand, and it was not what I was expecting, which is a good thing.
HOWEVER, a gripe I do have is that (and mind you I'm just very good at guessing things) there was a very big twist in this book that I figured out while I was listening to Game. In my opinion, it could have been handled a bit differently, but I still very much enjoyed the end result.
