My name is Winter Wayne, and I'm a Bone witch - minus the magic.

I used to work in the only place in Manhattan that had use for a witch with very little magic - like me - until my boss kicked me out over a job gone bad (not my fault, I swear). Pure boredom and the lack of company got to my head fast. I was so desperate, I took a delivery job from a complete stranger. It was supposed to be an easy job, clean and simple. It was anything but.

I found this book was really interesting right off the bat. It’s a modern book with magical elements and a kick ass lead female protagonist

What’s with all the, “all of a sudden”s and “suddenly”s?!!!? You have a potentially great urban fantasy/paranormal series start here, but the writing sounds like it’s coming from a teenaged girl. It’s also disjointed in places. I found it hard to follow at times.
Did this book do a pit stop at an editors table before being published?
If you want world building, with an urban fantasy bad *** heroin, and fantastic writing, storyline, plot, etc.., then Ilona Andrews all the way. Anything from them in fact, but my fav the Kate Daniels series all day everyday!

“Suddenly” she decided unfortunately she won’t be finding out if the writer was indeed a teen when she started writing this series getting better over time and subsequently the story with it.
Then “all of a sudden” the story was over for this reader, 😰 and “all of a sudden” she was out! ✌🏻
