About this listen
Disgraced cop Styvie Savard, from the hit Audible Original China White by Sarah Richards, is living in the British Columbia wilderness, the self-appointed guardian of a one-year-old girl, Willow. But Styvie’s clouded past–criminal charges, missed court dates–is about to catch up with her. Styvie’s ex-partner Denny Lee offers her a perilous way out, an off-the-books deep-cover assignment: infiltrate the Born Winners biker gang to root out a dirty cop. The mission: complete immersion in the lethal underworld of criminal bikers. Her objective: gain the trust of the club leader...by any means.

I almost stopped listening
I ended up enjoying the story but Styvie kept acting like an immature teenager not a mature woman who was once a cop and that bothered me

Much better than the first one
The narrator is amazing!
The story seems more refined than the writing of the first book. The first part is necessary to understand the depths of what's going on in this one, of course, and I am so glad I stuck with it and moved onto this book.

Amazing Read!
From start to finish, this book is beautifully written and engaging. The protagonist continues to be flawed, complex, and relatable. There is conflict and tension throughout, which made me want to keep listening. There was so much suspense and lots of unexpected twists throughout the book, which had me teetering at the edge of my seat and dropping my jaw. Richards is a master at writing characters that are both morally flawed and worthy of the reader's compassion. I also loved all the descriptions of Vancouver and Montréal. They were so vivid and often poetic. This book is a perfect sequel to the first one, and I can't wait to read the next one in the series!

I loved it!
I found the story interesting and well narrated. A great break from the TV and easy to pay attention to as I convulses after a major surgery. Thank you for the worthy use of my time!

Fun and realistic.
I enjoyed this book very much because it allowed room for adventure, curiosity. Survival and intimacy and the need for belonging. It was a fun read and left me wanting to Know the author.
