About this listen
Defeat slavers. Take their monster girls. Conquer the world.
When William stumbles through a portal in the middle of Antarctica, he'll suddenly find himself in a world unlike any he's ever known. Now, he's surrounded by monster girls, vicious warlords, and everything in between.
Worse, his only weapon is a magical branding iron, which seems to have one skill and one skill only, to overwrite slave brands. Thing is, monster girls seem pretty grateful about being freed from the tyranny of their masters, and with each one he brands, the stronger he becomes.
And that's a good thing because in a world under siege, William and his magical branding iron might be the only thing that stands between them and complete annihilation.
Warning: Contains a harem and adult situations. You have been warned.

So boring
The story could have been so much more but it is so moral that it destroyed the fun of it. The actor doing there individual thing instead of working together is really bad.

Didn't manage to finish the book.
I originally got this book because I was looking for a multi cast. A man narrating the MC and male voices, then a woman to do the female voices. It started that way, up to chapter 5 where we met Petra, then starting on chapter 6 the male voice actor took over the entire book and he does an ok job, but it's not what I was looking for. The the story was decent but in the end I lost interest with 2 hours left in the book. It's not bad, don't take me wrong, if the female voice actor continued on past chapter 5, I likely would have stuck with it.

it s alright
it s my first time writing a negatif riview about the performance. what s the point of having 2 narrators when you never use them both at the same time... normaly the male do the male voice and the female do the female voice, but no: in this book they thought it will better to switch between chapter. weird! They are still both doing a great job but they are not working proprely.
The book itself is alright, i think the character change to quickly from: i want to explore the world my father saw , to i want to save the world. Lack of comedy in my opinion.

Wel, l it's a book... It had moments, I guess?
It's like taking the biggest pill of melatonin to help you sleep. you take it and you know it's going to do something for you and you're taking it because you know it's going to do something for you, lol. But, you don't remember that it did anything for you, you just slept. It's about like that, about as vanilla as vanilla could ever want to be. it did have its moments I just can't tell you which ones they were. I think it had some steamy oarts in it, I just don't remember. As I said, it's a book. didn't hate it, didn't love it couldn't tell you anything about any of the characters, other than one had horns and wings and a I think she breathes fire??? so like the big Baddies, are big arachnid type people where he said mandibles a lot and here and there don't really mention the legs really that much and there's good Baddies and medium baddies and then the bad Baddies I guess he kind of touches on how they're related I think once. oh and everyone gets branded hence the name Brandon which means literally being branded and you're either a slave or yours the person holding The Branding Iron that makes him the slave or free which couldn't leave you the ability to use your powers for good or for evil if you have powers that doesn't really talk about who or why you have powers versus someone else I think they might be just different species. I can't say I hated the book or love the book, wait did I say that already? yeah this story is kind of like that, I am glad it was free but there's so many holes in the story huge huge holes and I think there's four races and I think there's only two humans that somehow or another came to this planet's I don't remember how and I guess his father and grandfather and for Generations have been coming to this planet but he really never knew why and only them or maybe I guess only them but you don't see any half breeds of any of the other races or humans with them I guess but he hooks up with a plant there was that literally the plant with legs and stuff. enjoy the book branded

its isekai not isexai
performance was very well done. no problem distinguishing characters. maybe its just me but this is my 3rd isekai in a row thats basically softcore. not my thing. seeing as female slaves tend to be a trend in this story i think ill pass on the rest. good premise though with the brands. has potential.

It's not bad but not as good as it could be.
The story is not bad. Shure it's really bland but the put it's not bad.
The character lack depth and their is no progression making the paste realy slow.
If it was not an audio book i would have found it hard to read.
The nymphe is way to early in the story and she felt force into a love interest from the start.
It's naive and out of touch like what a kid think love is not what it realy is.
Lot of potential i look foward to Simon Archer next book even if i did not like the first.
You need more punch to keep the reader interest other then lust.
The voice reader is a mix bag some chapter are good some are really bad.

Story is good but narration style is bad
As the title says this book has a very interesting story, but I can’t do the narration style, its very clumsy and honestly has a low budget B movie feel, actually perhaps a very poor voice dubbing like in those cheesy Chinese movies. So one chapter its the male narrator doing all the character voices, then the next chapter its the female narrator doing all the character voices, smh, I'm guessing this was done on the cheap, perhaps they could not afford proper duel narration or the author doesn’t actually care for idk but I'm returning this train wreck of narrated book, which is unfortunate because the story is very good.
