About this listen

Every day, we make hundreds of small actions without even thinking about them. Pulling out our smartphones, clicking the one-click purchase button, pulling down to refresh the social media feed, and more. Automatic actions that have become so deeply programmed into our lives that we don't have the chance to stop and ask ourselves a very important question: Do I actually want to do this right now?

This book is all about taking a step back, identifying the Twitch - the impulsive, unproductive responses we have to discomfort - minimizing those distractions, kicking the clutter, and doing more of what matters.

Really informative, easy to digest

I loved this book so much. I’ve been on a path of simplifying my life and home and working towards being a more conscious consumer, and I heard about this book on YouTube while watching a video on someone’s no buy year. I decided to get it and listen to it while decluttering a closet, and it felt like a theory meets practise therapy session haha! I felt very seen in an uncomfortable yet also “it’s not just me” kind of way. So much valuable information and perspectives. It’s super short and can be listened to in one go. Highly recommend!

Your Future Self Will Thank You

Not only is Anthony's voice soothing and pleasant, his message in this book is one I feel a lot of people desperately need to hear but yet do not know it. If you struggle with distractions, urges to spend money, buy little things that don't matter, and want to live presently, this short listen is highly recommended. It is a great first step into the life of minimalism.

Un livre qui fait du bien!

C’est le livre que j’avais besoin d’entendre présentement! La narration est agréable et le propos nous fait réfléchir sur notre consommation excessive et sur nos réels besoin. Un livre qui fait du bien!
