About this listen

"Hi Monty. Wanna see my python?"

That's how I ended up in the bathroom of some dive bar with a stranger.

Me, Monty Andrews, the quintessential virgin girl next door.

I was so out of my element, but there was no denying our explosive attraction, even via text.

Commence Operation Bang Each Other Out of Our Systems, because that was all it was - unfinished business.

I had no intention of falling back into the sheets with the tattooed, muscly, dirty-in-the-best-kind-of-way single dad over and over again... but I did.

Everything was going great - until we discovered I was his son's teacher.

Contains mature themes.

Two homeruns and a miss

I enjoyed the storyline I found the female narrator and her use of alternate voices effective.
I found that the voice is used by the male narrator did not match the characters and detracted from the story.

No takebacks.

The female narration was on point but the male narration was not. This book started alright and had some funny parts but did not meet expectations after reading the first two. The good girl/I'm not good enough for any attitude Monty had drove me nuts and then the we should have been together but can't routine grew old quickly between the two of them. Also how quickly they gave up on each other and how she couldn't just tell the other guy interested in her to get lost was just ridiculous and when things got heated with that they just started to give up instead of just doing the right thing and adult thing like being straight with everyone needed right from the start. Also, the fact she didn't tell him about her virginity and how that part was played out was just plain awkward. They got it together in the end with a cute HEA though atleast.

Male narrator SO does not suit

I love the usual female narrator, but the guy reading is all wrong for this book. Robbie has a deep baritone voice and Zack is a nerdy not-so-muscly guy (compared to Robbie). I wonder if the narrators for these books read or listen to the first few novels in the series before jumping right in. The plot is decent.
