Publisher's Summary

Cat's Cradle is Vonnegut's satirical commentary on modern man and his madness. An apocalyptic tale of this planet's ultimate fate, it features a little person as the protagonist; a complete, original theology created by a calypso singer; and a vision of the future that is at once blackly fatalistic and hilariously funny.

Can't go wrong

An excellent performance doing an incredible work justice. Pacing of narration is spot on to carry you along.

Another leap into Vonnegut's world.

Unique storytelling at its finest. A story that you simply can't find anywhere else.

good performance with a bonus

The reading is good; the final chapter includes a conversation between Vonnegut and Walter Miller

Excellent book and recording

There are some complaints about oddly place music. This recording was originally produced for portable media such as Cds and possibly cassette tapes (I can't recall the recording date). The recording would span multiple discs and the music occurred at the beginnings and ends of each disc.

Not for me

Awful book. Reviews said it was funny. Not funny at all. So disliked this book, I returned it.

Overrated

The reader was skilled however the story is weak and disjointed. It’s a wandering tale of criticism on American post war attitudes.
