Sizzling with action and suspense, number one New York Times best-selling author Sarah J. Maas delivers with this DC Icons coming-of-age Selina Kyle who will steal listeners' hearts theYA blockbuster: Catwoman!

DC Icons is now a New York Times best-selling series!

"A Catwoman story with Maas' signature touch.... Devilish." (Entertainment Weekly)

When the Bat's away, the Cat will play. It's time to see how many lives this cat really has.

Two years after escaping Gotham City's slums, Selina Kyle returns as the mysterious and wealthy Holly Vanderhees. She quickly discovers that with Batman off on a vital mission, the city looks ripe for the taking.

Meanwhile, Luke Fox wants to prove that as Batwing he has what it takes to help people. He targets a new thief on the prowl who has teamed up with Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn. Together, they are wreaking havoc. This Catwoman is clever - she may be Batwing's undoing.

In this third DC Icons book, Selina is playing a desperate game of cat and mouse, forming unexpected friendships, and entangling herself with Batwing by night and her devilishly handsome neighbor Luke Fox by day. But with a dangerous threat from the past on her tail, will she be able to pull off the heist that's closest to her heart?

A great interpretation

I really enjoyed this take on CatWoman and her cohorts. Engaging storyline and it went so fast! Made me wish there was a sequel to immediately move to.

Good Story, Wonderful Narrator

Well written little time waster. That is in no way a knock on the book. It is well written. The story is engaging. I am so glad that I got it on Audible, the narrator is that good.

A neat take on the catwoman story

Was fun except they really harped on the race thing. I have experienced racial profiling but I don’t need to hear how the characters race plays into everything all the time the book should be about escaping reality not constantly bringing up perceived biases

Impressed By How Much This Gripped Me

After making a deal with the League of Assasins to take care of her sister Catwoman trains for years before finally coming back to Gotham to seek revenge on the wealthy who turn a blind eye to the suffering of the poor. Ive never been into the whole Batman world, but Maas has definitely made me reconsider my life decisions. I think I might even loved this book more than some of her latest novels. The narrator did a really good job immersing me in the story. It was gripping with a bunch of action packed scenes. The characters were well developped and had me emotionally invested. I absolutely loved Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn. I thought they were the best sidekicks. I even enjoyed the tension filled slow burn romance. Im super sad this is a standalone Im so attached to the characters now I need more time with them
