In spite of the dreadful narration (Bernadette Quigley's accents are DREADFUL; her Canadian character sounds like he's from the southern US; her German character sounds like a parody or a pantomime German and her British characters - just badly done), I really enjoyed this book and if you're a fan of the Bridget Jones books, you can really sense, when reading or listening to this, how Bridget sort of evolved from the character of Rosie Richardson and how the "diary" format developed for Helen Fielding. With a better narrator, I think this book would be a massive success.
