About this listen

This short audio presentation is designed to bring a clear definition of what being centered is, and how to recognize and use a centered state, and to give you an opportunity to focus and reflect on the level of centeredness currently in your life.

Living a principled, healthy life, growing in spirit, and realizing your potential is always very challenging.

How do we keep our thoughts and actions grounded in the present moment, especially in uncertain times?

One useful antidote to stress is a simple process known as "centering".

How this audio learning experience works

This audio presentation has been designed using an experiential learning model by D.A. Kolb (1984): concrete learning, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation.

By taking this approach, we hope to cater for all learning styles.

You will be given specific new information in the recording, usually as “key tips”, “explanations” and “quotes”. You will be led through a gentle but positive meditative reflection process to assist you before conceptualization and then putting your new skills into practice.

You will be encouraged to return to the recording from time to time to relisten and reinforce your learning and the desired changes in your life.

Enjoy!
