Excellent book, so much good info!
I enjoyed this book, it had so much interesting and helpful information in it. I appreciated how the author went into many brain issues and how they can affect daily life, describing various relationship issues and how many of them have shown to be brain issues that improve dramatically when awareness of the issue and proper treatment are applied. I also appreciate how he lists brain healthy foods to start encorporating as well as foods to minimize and stay away from, discusses both supplements and drugs that help certain cases and gives hope to there being treatment for many brain issues. I have ADHD and know that diet can affect how I function, looking forward to adjusting my diet a bit to see where I can improve! This book is well worth a read!

Great Book no Chapters
This book has 20+ chapters but they are only identified numerically. If I wasn't to go backwards or fwd to look at a specific part of the brain, I have no reference point.
Customer Service said they could do nothing about it.
Otherwise this is an excellent book , identifying how the dif parts work, what happens if they are weak or too busy, etc.
Question to ask to self-diagnose, if you can't get a Catscan. Holistic helps as well as pharmaceuticals.
Wish Audible would fix the Chapter glitch.

Eye opening
As someone who enjoys learning, I was truly amazed with what I learned in the book. I personally am luck, but can see how this book will impact those around me including my son and daughter who have suffered from concussions. I felt the need to share this info and have gifted others the paperback version so they can review with their care physicians.
I wish HD a platform to shout louder the potential impact this science could positively assist other in life.
I do suggest this if you a loved one is impacted by mental illness because this book can return hope to the darkness.

Fascinating read, informative!
This book provides a look into what we thought we already knew about various mental health issues, learning differences and all things regarding the brain, it's function and how it alters our very being if not taken care of. Have paper and pencil ready as you'll have plenty of questions for your health care providers, and lots of take aways to protect and heal your brain to be the best you you can be.

Incredibly Inspired
Although a highly clinical book, it kept me engaged and inspired all the way through. I have countless bookmarks to review content in which I found very helpful and applicable to myself and my family. It reminded me to better care for my one-and-only brain, which in turn has radically changed my diet. This book has given me hope that I can change and be a better version of myself, with hard work of course - but the point is: you can change your life, by changing your brain. If you are genuinely searching for ways to better understand your own behaviour, or the behaviour of a loved one, you will find great value in this book.
