This project contains adult language and mentions of suicide. Please keep that in mind when choosing when and where to listen.
A masterclass of manipulation—dive deep into the true story of a cat-and-mouse game with law enforcement that spans the globe and help piece together the clues in a race against time.
Boaz Manor was a finance wunderkind. He started a hedge-fund company in Canada and later burst onto Wall Street with a product that could transform the crypto market. By all accounts, he was incredibly hard-working. Possibly brilliant. And...a shameless con man who ended up wanted in multiple countries.
Chasing Boaz Manor explores Boaz’s schemes through the perspective of those he left in his wake. An anxious employee who got to know Boaz’s alter ego. A hardened financial investigator who chased him across the globe. An obsessed journalist who gets caught in his mind games. A high school frenemy out for revenge.
Our host, actress and star of Reacher Serinda Swan, guides us through the sprawling crimes of a man who just can’t seem to be stopped.
Chasing Boaz Manor takes listeners deep into the world of an enigmatic character who, against all odds, keeps slipping away.

Poor journalism
The story of Boaz Manor is a fascinating one, but the journalism on this is bizarrely poor. Leah asserts that the lawyer was the investigator of Boaz during the Portus case when in fact he was acting on behalf of the KPMG investigators, not investigating himself. This may be a subtle difference, but it’s an important one. Why didn’t she seek out the actual investigating accountants? Why neglect their work entirely? This is such an oversight that it’s hard to accept that the rest of her account is accurate and complete. Furthermore, she seems to accept the stories of Boaz’s mother and frenemy at face value rather than questioning their veracity. This is, simply, lazy journalism.
What a shame that this important story was muddled and distorted by a lazy journalist.
