An experience
This wasn’t a read, it was an experience. I have been anxiously awaiting the release of Choose Strong and waited for the audio. I was so grateful I waited to hear Sally tell her early story I’m her soft, quiet, honest voice.
I found myself sleeping excessively for the two days it took me to listen to this book. Not sure why, now that I’m done I realize it was likely because Sally took me with her, through all the heaviness of her childhood, yet with a strong, courageous voice. I slept and dreamed, releasing things I haven’t in decades. Heaviness in the presence of strength.
Sally, your voice has been part of my soundtrack for years. Actually on YouTube videos and podcasts (including mine) and figuratively in my head as I run.
“What you want and what you need rarely align.”
Listening to your voice telling your story was one of the most riveting and powerful experiences I have ever had. Thank you for courageously sharing your memoir. You are beautifully and wonderfully made.

Extremely powerful
What a powerful and emotional story! Brought tears to my eyes more than once. This story took alot of courage to tell, and it really helps put in perspective how we all can make choices to change our lives for the better and continually move in a positive direction, regardless of past hardships. I love the message and the vulnerability it takes to tell a story like this. Thank you Sally, I will definitely think of your story when I'm out hammering and I feel like I'm hitting a wall. Choose strong
