About this listen

Jealousy, tragedy, survival, and revenge - the discovery of Christopher’s diary in the ruins of Foxworth Hall brings new secrets of the Dollanganger family to light and obsesses a new generation. With Flowers in the Attic and Petals on the Wind both now major Lifetime TV events, this first new addition to the Dollanganger story in nearly 30 years is a timely look at the events in the attic - from teenage Christopher’s point of view.

And don’t forget to preorder the follow-up, Christopher’s Diary: Echoes of Dollanganger!

Christopher Dollanganger was 14 when he and his younger siblings - Cathy and the twins, Cory and Carrie - were locked away in the attic of Foxworth Hall, prisoners of their mother’s greedy inheritance scheme. For three long years, he kept hope alive for the sake of the others. But the shocking truth about how their ordeal affected him was always kept hidden - until now.

The narration is soo good!

I’m really enjoying the narrators. The voice of Christopher and of the main character (forget her name which can testify to the fact I’m not 100% into the story line) I’m thoroughly enjoying the narration but not 100% sure if the story is something I’ll want to read/listen to again. It’s very much a retelling of flowers in the attic and the story doesn’t end at the end of this book it continues onto book #2 I purchased flowers in the attic recently but may have to return it as I feel like I’m listening to it right now only difference being it’s through Christopher’s eyes.
It’s pretty good but if you’ve read flowers in the attic recently you may grow bored as it is repetitive. Nothing new from his point of view.

what a waste: time and money

not about the attic. to be blunt, it's about the life of the girl who has the diary
