About this listen
With regenerative abilities, a badass tail and the potential to evolve his body, how could Art resist choosing a lizard man as his avatar? All’s well until he accidentally joins forces with an acid-spitting, enemy-consuming shadow-bound grub, causing his light-bound guild members turn against him, and a deadly fire mage to wage a vendetta against him.
Venturing through enchanted forests, into mage enclaves atop ice-capped mountains, through thief-ridden sewers and into ancient temples, Art must defeat the Legendary Beasts and claim their gems of power before his enemies can stop him.
With the odds stacked against him, it’s time for Art to undergo some dangerous and unique training.
It’s time for him to evolve!

I had to pause this book
Party encounters a lich boss and everyone's scared there's a holy paladin in the team and he literally does nothing he actually watches other members die how is that a thing he should have at the very least should have been able to weakin a lich this is literally his job description paladins fight dark things and undead things not watch people die and not help at all I am upset! But the book is great otherwise. Travis Baldree can read a dictionary and make it sound interesting .

What a book
This book was amazing and shift from the norm while keep the essence of LitRPG novels, the author I did over state the very aspects which was nice.
The narrator was fantastic as ever not to mention the singing Travis missed his calling.

Not Bad, but not my kind of Protagonists
I liked the concept and generally like the LitRPG featuring Monsterous MCs, but the MCs are University Students, and the kind that had Baby's First Philosophy Class. It's an excellent depiction of the subject so if you don't mind that kind of tripe, (such as Science isn't about Facts or the kind of people that complain about races in games not liking each other) then you will likely enjoy this book far more than I did.
