Publisher's Summary

The average Christian in America does not know what his own religion teaches, nor does he care. He may call himself “Christian”, but he lives his life exactly as he wishes, making no attempt to conform his conduct to the commands and tenets of his religion. Daily Wire writer Matt Walsh confronts his fellow Christians in this bold, clear-eyed book that serves as an urgent reminder of Matthew 7:13 - "For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it."

Excellent book!

The book itself is excellent from beginning to end. I did find the performance to be... wooden? Maybe... I’m not quite sure how to describe it, but the narrator had a way of speaking that stood out and I never really got used to it. Over enunciating certain words, almost robotic in its delivery. However, the book was so solid that it didn’t at any point make me want to stop listening. As a Protestant listening to Mr. Walsh’s words, I was struck by just how much I agree with him!

Answer the Call

Very well written. Forces you to look at yourself with conviction and know that we are all short of the glory of God.

Eye opening for Christians.

This was a smooth sweet and short book. A reality check. This is a true outline for any Christian who is worth their salt.

Convicting and encouraging

This book is very convicting, even as I would consider myself to be a traditional, conservative Christian. I intend to listen again, as there is a lot of subjects covered, and i felt really blessed and encouraged to take my walk with God much more seriously. (Very graphic in parts, not one to be listened to around your children.)

Far too harsh of a presentation

Presented himself more as a dictator and the authority on all subjects in this matter. there are positions that many would agree with them on, but there are also others he needs to study a little more. For example, he made the point in one chapter that church is only held in a big building. Citing a few scriptures, but seem to miss the majority of scriptures were Christ and his followers met outdoors, and in homes where the majority of his miracles were performed not in the big building. He seems to forget the church is wherever two or three are gathered in his name!
