Publisher's Summary

A gay fantasy series based on Cinderella.

Can a human king and a Fae prince’s love overcome ancient hate?

Former servant Finn Ashton is now Prince Finrael Ravenspar, beloved son and heir of Fae King Thalanil. Though Finn has finally found his true family, Finn’s heart belongs to human King Rohan De Clare, whom his father has banished from the Fae Empire forever.

After seeing Fae magic with his own eyes, Rohan realizes that Fae and humans must work together to restore balance to the land. With his kingdom beset by dangers on all sides, Rohan finds it difficult to focus as he has left a piece of himself with his Fae prince lover, Finn. Rohan sees his chance to save his kingdom - and his heart - by proposing a ball and an alliance with the Fae.

Unfortunately, the ball won’t just bring together allies, but enemies.

This will be a five-book, high fantasy series with fated lovers, magnificent monsters, and powerful magic.

Note: This novel series has cliff-hangers! Every audiobook will end on one. That's my natural writing style. If you do not like cliff-hangers, wait until the whole series is published to listen. Thanks for the support!

X. Aratare writes gay paranormal romance with witches, vampires, magic, and mystery. Though some books may venture into dark territory, they will all have happy endings.

Still going great

As someone who is reaaaaaally over the over done tropes. I was worried the seperation between th two lovers would lead to some predictable options. Was very pleased and engrossed in how the author took a common trope and made it their own without being cliche or predictable and kept you ever hungry for more of the story.

It continues the story with greater background. Love these stories. I want the protagonist to be together!! Hahah

likeable main pair but cliches abound

I swear I almost stopped listening as the recap at the start passed the 30min mark. you might as well just skip the first books since the recap was so long and detailed. after it finally ended, the story continued and I was glad there was at
least more variation and diverse plots this book although it's still very.. cliched. the magic is just so cheesy and convenient, and the world doesn't make sense. They have ice cream and some modern phrasing but also sleep on furs. I did enjoy the inclusion of Finn's brothers but the big bad guy is so unscary and "evil" with those sexy bare feet XD if you're looking at this review I guess you already listened to the first two so give it a go I guess.
