About this listen

A single dad sheriff doing his best to protect his town. A gorgeous stranger caught trespassing. A love never expected…

So, it turns out the town sheriff is a total cinnamon roll. A big, burly, grumpy, hot as sin, cinnamon roll. He found me hiding out on private property. Trespassing. I lied and told him I was only there because I was out of cash and had to sleep in my car.

I thought he’d give me a ticket and send me on my way.

Instead, he insisted that I stay at his guest house—right next door to him and his three kids.

I know better than to let them get close. I’ve been betrayed too many times to put my trust in anyone.

Too bad the air crackles every time he comes near, and I feel like I’m going to burn up every time I look at him.

All it takes is one reckless night to completely spiral into the bliss of the man and his big, capable hands. One dinner with his little family to completely fall.

Only I never told him why I really came to Time River. Now I have to choose to trust him with my secret before it’s too late for both of us…

Another Time River hit!

I love a single dad trope so I’ve been waiting for daddy Ezra from the start and he was just as protective, caring and dreamy as I hoped.
I enjoyed the book and the chemistry between the characters. The whole book I thought I had a picture of what was going on and turns out I really had no idea. The suspense was really well done and I didn’t see it coming. And how could you not love his 3 adorable children. I mean seriously this series has the sweetest kids! I loved the hot cop and little trespasser nick names, the build up, seriously they were a great couple.
But daddy Ezra still can’t beat out Ryder or Caleb in my eyes 😍
My biggest issue with this book is Ezra when it comes to his wife. I understand they were having issues very clearly, and I don’t excuse her behavior but she was very clearly mentally sick. And he way of coping with that just seemed very ignorant and showed little empathy towards someone he supposedly loved. the fact that he just ditched her to hook up with another woman the night she died left a sour taste in my mouth. I can understand that the relationship was far from perfect, he settled for someone without ever fully trusting her, but the way he treated his mentally ill wife just really didn’t sit well. I also know he himself was carrying a lot of guilt, said everyone thought they had this perfect marriage when clearly they didn’t, and he wasn’t the perfect person. I just don’t like the way it sat with me personally.

The narration was really well done. Just wish it had of been some duet style.
