About this listen
The #1 New York Times bestselling series continues as Mitch Rapp faces off with Russia in this high-octane installment that is “ripped straight from next week’s headlines” (The Real Book Spy).
Mitch Rapp hates owing anyone a favor—especially when it’s the world’s most powerful crime lord. But when Damian Losa calls, Mitch is honor bound to answer.
The Syrian government has created a highly addictive new narcotic that it plans to distribute throughout Europe. It’s a major threat to Losa’s business and he’s determined to stop it by any means necessary. Rapp is the perfect choice for the mission. Not only does he have extensive experience operating in the Middle East, but he’s also entirely expendable.
As he crosses into war-torn Syria, Rapp quickly discovers a shocking truth. The new drug isn’t being produced by Damascus to prop up the government’s collapsing finances. Instead, it was created by Russia’s asymmetrical warfare unit as a weapon against the West.
With far more than Damian Losa’s interests at stake, Rapp devises a desperate plan that forces him and his team onto a battlefield where the United States is virtually powerless, and allegiances shift almost hourly. Further, if Russia uncovers their plot, it will set off a confrontation between the two countries that could change the course of history in this “bullet train to high adventure” (Townhall).

Enjoyable
Not quite as good as the earlier books, but still a good read, and an enjoyable storyline, even if it’s on rail

Always a good read
Well thought out with enough truth to scare you into thinking it could be true.

the narrator is not good
I love all of Mitch Rapp books and no disappointment here except for the narrator Steven Weber. I don't like his narrating for Mitch Rapp and ruins the book for me. Mitch Rapp is supposed to be an assassin yet steven weber makes him sound like a wimp. His voice for Irene well forget it. not a fan at all. The new book just came out and yup Steven Weber narrating. uggg.
This is a great book. Worth the read or listen for sure.

Disappointed zoo
Disappointed it was not a typical Mitch Rapp audio book.
Only one voice who I did not recognize…
I had pre ordered the book a month earlier and wash a waste of time!

JUST ANOTHER GREAT MITCH RAPP BOOK
To bad this series has come to an end! Enjoyed every book. This book was just another example of the great work Kyle Mills has been able to continue!

Good story
I enjoyed this book. The narrator was enjoyable as well but no one does a better Mitch Rapp than George Guidall.

Rushed and flat
I felt that the narration was flat and a lack of effort on the characters. The timeline seemed to be rushed and lacked detail like his others in the series. It felt like he couldn’t wait to get this one finished and done and that left a sour note on me. Disappointed in that this was apparently the last of the series.

Ruined by poor narration
Whoever thought of replacing George Guidall should suffer the same fate as Rapps enemies! Flat with no energy invested in the characters or stories. Completely ruined the story and made it a struggle to finish.

Solid final novel for Mills
Not as fast movie or deep as previous but still a solid story in the keeping of Flynn

Where is the previous narrator?
What happened to tie the previos narrator? Too cheap?
I'm getting my money back on this one.
